Dear Families,

We recognize that today has been a challenging one for many of our students, families, and staff. Living with uncertainty is never easy, and we remain hopeful that the current labour disruption will be resolved soon.

If the planned strike proceeds on October 6, 2025, Deer Run teachers, Krista Seip (Assistant Principal), and Shawna Weir (Principal) will no longer have access to their CBE email accounts. During this time, all communication to families will come directly from the CBE. Mrs. Pulfer will continue to monitor the Deer Run School email should you have any questions.

In the coming days, we encourage you to check your email regularly and stay informed by following local news updates. We look forward to returning to school as soon as possible.
